Crazy weather we are having. Two days ago it was very late spring like. The air was unseasonably warm, all but a rare patch of snow was to be found. People were Barbequing and those not at work were out walking and enjoying the day. I had to look at the calendar to know what month it was! It felt more like mid April. I took the opportunity to get some unusual pictures, for late January, around the yard.
That same night it began with flurries, than by morning it was really heavy and by the afternoon the wind had picked up. It snowed and blew it around all day and into the night. By yesterday afternoon the wind had died down and after another round of scooping the snow drifts off the deck I got out the camera again and took the “after” pictures. What a difference two days can make!
No new news. The kids are moved in their own home as I said in last blog. Two more weeks of work at the store and I’ll have a week mid-winter holiday. Not going anywhere, just thought by mid February I’d get the "blahs" and not want to go/do anything so picked that date. Hopefully though I’ll get the inclination to finish painting the kitchen I started almost a year ago if not maybe a year!

Good to see a post from you Faye. The pictures show what a difference a day can make.I am longing for spring.
What a lovely yard you have. Who would believe such a difference in only two days! I\’m not longing for spring. Well, I am, but I can\’t allow myself to think about it. We have still have Feb. and March "winter" weather to get through, and the way weather is over here, likely April will also bring more snow and cold.
Hi Faye,So glad you were able to take the pictures and get such a dramatic effect. BTW your yard is great. I love the landscaping you\’ve done.Enjoy your break and wish I could fly in and help you paint that kitchen!
I love the color Carole picked for the nursery and enjoyed painting. Take care…
The weather has been crazy here on the West Coast too. The Olympics start in a week and it\’s raining on the mountains….lol.I\’ll bet you\’re happy to have the kids closer to home now. Congratulations to them on their new home. Take care and hope you have a good weekend. (((hugs)))
Nice to visit you from Curtis blog. I showed my hubby the first photo and said "That\’s what I want!" Lol, to grow my grapes up an over. I hope he\’ll build it for me. Very nice blog you have.
Geez and I thought it had been a long time since I had posted! Thought I would stop by and say hello to one of the very first bloggers I ever met online. Don\’t worry Spring will get here…I think.

Worried about you…Have not seen you around for a long time now. Hope you are doing OK.
